Advanced Software Engineering is pleased to announce the immediate availability of ChartDirector Ver 5.1.

ChartDirector Ver 5.1 greatly enhances user interactions with charts by supporting programmable track cursors. As an example, a track cursor can be programmed as a vertical line that moves with the mouse cursor, snapping to the nearest data point, with dynamic information displayed as legend entries, axis labels or floating text boxes. The appearance of the track cursor, as well as the dynamic information displayed, are all programmable and customizable to ensure maximum flexibility.

Apart from user interaction enhancements, ChartDirector Ver 5.1 includes a new 3D scatter chart type, with 3D rotation and perspective support. Other enhancements include new APIs to significantly simplify zooming and scrolling charts, fast line mode and 3D spline strips.
