Do I buy linux/freebsd license as Mac is built on top of Freebsd

Hi yweb,

Unluckily, Mac OS X is considered as a separate OS as distinct from FreeBSD. From the developer's point of view, Mac OS X is different from FreeBSD, just like Mac OS X is different from Windows. For example, Mac OS X code cannot run on FreeBSD and vice versa.

For Mac OS X, you would need use a "All Platforms" type of license.
