Hi Douglas,
The release date is scheduled to be Mar 9, 2009.
If you want to try it now, a release candidate for ChartDirector for Python Ver 5.0 Windows is at:

Thanks, The new contour and surface graphs look great and the parametric curve fitting is a nice surprise.
