I know PHP 5.3 is only just getting to RC status, and it would be unrealistic to get a version
of ChartDirector for this version, but I guess it would hurt to ask  |

Hi Maxx,
Unluckily, we would only release PHP 5.3 supported when it is formally released.
From our experience, it is possible the PHP RC can go on for quite a few months, and there can be incompatible changes between the first RC and the final release. (It happened before.) That is the main reason we will not use with the RC version.
