  .Net Version compatibility
Posted by Nadim Sayed on Jun-03-2009 18:18
I have a licensed version of chartdirector control and have implemented this control in one of my applications developed on ASP.net on framework 1.1.
I need to migrate to dotnet framework 2.0. Can I use the same control that I have. Is it compatible for Framework 2.0 ?

Hi Nadim,

Yes. All .NET versions of ChartDirector are compatible with all .NET framework versions.

However, we suggest to use the latest version of ChartDirector (or at least ChartDirector Ver 4.1), because it is specially designed to work natively in both 32-bit and 64-bit environments, and require minimal privilege to run (can even work in untrusted mode). Also, unlikely earlier versions of ChartDirector for .NET, the assembly in ChartDirector for .NET Ver 4.1 or above contains only 1 file (intsead of 3), and it is much smaller in size than earlier versions. So ChartDirector for .NET Ver 4.1 or above is easier to install.

Hope this can help.
