ChartDirector is a great solution for iPhone |

Just want to point out that ChartDirector is a great charting solution for iPhone web apps.
I was using a flash based chart engine in my non mobile apps but found that did not work for the iPhone ( which currently does not support flash )
I found this site from a blog I read and could not be happier with ChartDirector. It takes a little getting used to inputting all the variables but the upside is extreme control of your chart elements. It even supports images maps for the iPhone to click through on !
Another tip. If you are developing mobile web apps for the iPhone ( or other webkit browsers ) then take a look at jQTouch. Very nice framework for developing on and has nice transitions/animations. I have integrated ChartDirector with jQTouch with great results.

Hi Dave,
Thanks a lot for sharing your experience with us.
Quite a number of people have asked me whether ChartDirector can be used in iPhone applications. I suppose if ChartDirector is running on the server side, the charts generated should be viewable by iPhone. Now with your message, everything becomes much more convincing.
And thanks for the suggestion of using jQTouch with ChartDirector.
