Posted by Tom Tran on Oct-16-2010 04:17
Hello,
I have a question? I'd like to know if Chart director software could generate a standard normal? I am using Java.

Please let me know if you know the answer.

Thanks and have a lovely weekend,

Tran

Hi Tom,

A standard normal distribution curve is a constant curve. The data can be hard coded as they are constants. There is an example in:

http://www.chartdir.com/forum/download_thread.php?bn=chartdir_general&thread=1277325208#N1277368166

The above example is in ASP/VBScript, but it is should be easy to convert to Java. The data points are hard coded. You can put any labels to the curve. For example, you can put the label "1084.48" at the center of the curve. To the user, it would seem the "mean" is at 1084.48.

Hope this can help.
