  Pie Chart Query
Posted by niranjan on Dec-08-2010 02:54
I have created a pie chart.
When the data values for all the items is zero . The pie chart is showing equal (50%)contribution share for all.

eg:Showing percentage of participation

labels           Value
Open Items :  0
Close Items :  0

if I give values > 0  to them the percentage of pie charts is showing correct.
Query : how to show/handle item values having 0 (zero) data in pie chart?

Hi niranjan,

In a standard pie chart, the pie size is a constant and does not depend on the data. The data determines how the pie is partitioned into sectors. The sector with bigger data value will be bigger. If two sectors are of the same data value, it is normal that the pie is showing 50%/50% for the two sectors.

If you think it should show something else, would you mind to clarify what are you expecting?
