Hi,
I want to show the status of start and stop of device using graph. Is it possible to display the stop and start graph?

Hi,
If the device stop then i have to plot the graph in dotline. If the device is start then plot the graph with dotted line for device in "off " state. Is it possible using chartdirector.

Hi prathika,
I am not exactly sure what you mean by "If the device stop then i have to plot the graph in dotline". Suppose your device is a thermometer. If it stops, there is no reading. How can we plot anything then?
Do you mean at first the device is working and has data, then it stops and has no data, then it starts again and has data, and you want to use a dash line to bridge the period when the device stopped?
To do the above, you may insert a NoValue point when the device stop. Then you can configure ChartDirector to bridge through the stopped period by using a dash line. See the sample code "Missing Data Points" for an example.
