Hi...
I want to test chartdirector for a company I'm consulting at, and it appears that it won't
run because there is no chartdir.lic as part of the download. This is on a OSX system. The
messages appear below:
Boot Log :
2011-03-07 20:08:35> Cannot load license file /usr/lib/ChartDirector/chartdir.lic - No such
file or directory [error code = 2]
2011-03-07 20:08:35> Cannot load license file /usr/local/phpextensions/chartdir.lic - No
such file or directory [error code = 2]
Updated license check at 2011-03-07 20:21:06> Cannot load license file
/usr/local/phpextensions/chartdir.lic - No such file or directory [error code = 2]
Can I do anything or do I need some sort of limited license file?

Hi Joe,
If you do not have a license file, ChartDirector will still run normally in evaluation mode.
The output of the "Boot Log" has indicated that everything is normal, and ChartDirector should work normally in evaluation mode. In evaluation method, all charts will have small yellow bars at the bottom that mark the charts as produced by the evaluation version of ChartDirector. Except that, ChartDirector works exactly the same way in evaluation mode and registered mode.
Have you tried the sample code that comes with ChartDirector? You may use "phpdemo/index.php" to get the list of sample code, and clicks on them to check if they work.
If the sample code does not work, please inform me of the followings:
(a) Please access "phpdemo/cdinfo.php" and provide me with the full output.
(b) Please access "phpdemo/simplebar.php" and provide me with the full output.
(c) Please kindly inform me the phpinfo of your system.
