Hi,
Just a small question as we move an application from one server(win 2003) to another(2008) we need to use the updated V5(previously 3) due to the 64 bit commitment required by the new server.
Now the original license key has stopped working. Do we need to purchase a new license for this switch. Not we have made no changes to use any V5 updates.

Hi Paul,
If your license is of ChartDirector Ver 3 (that is, on the date of purchase, the ChartDirector version is 3.x), you may upgrade to Ver 4 free of charge. To upgrade to Ver 5, you would need to purchase an upgrade license, which costs 25% of the full price of the license.
Note that it is also possible your license is of ChartDirector Ver 2. (Because we include one major version of free upgrade in all ChartDirector licenses, a Ver 2 license would also work with ChartDirector Ver 3.) If this is the case, you would need to purchase two upgrade licenses to upgrade to Ver 5. The cost is 50% of the full price of the license.
