slow rendering when using many points set to NoValue
Posted by arun gupta on Mar-29-2011 10:00
chartdirector generally renders graphs for us in sub-second range. but whenever we have
mostly NoValue points (say 1000 novalue points), the performance degrades considerably,
goes up to 35-40 seconds. is there a workaround to this issue?

Hi Arun,

Would you mind to inform me what type of chart you are using, and the programming language you are using?

As far as I know, the NoValue points should not have any significant effect on performance. May be you can inform me of your charting code, so I may test it myself.
