Gradient between lines with varying orientation?

Hi Peter,

In the attached chart, we've used InterLineLayers to color between the central yellow line and the "edges" of the black area.

Is there any way to apply a gradient to the interline layer that will graduate from a solid color next to the yellow/central line, and fade out as we get close to the outer boundary?

This would mean the that gradient start/end would change over the length of the lines.

The second attached image is a poor attempt to illustrate what I'm looking for, where the black background fades out as we approach the outer edge.

Thanks,
Glen

Hi Glen,

Unluckily, I am not aware of any easy method to achieve what you need. (In fact, it seems rather difficult to draw what you need even with a professional interactive graphics editor like Photoshop.)

The only method I can think of is to using hundreds of gradients, each covering one or two pixels wide. You also need hundreds of interline layers, each covering one or two pixels wide.
