Note that "ChartDirector for ASP/COM/VB" and "ChartDirector for .NET" are two different software. The former is for ASP, while the latter is for ASP.NET. ASP and ASP.NET are two different frameworks. Are you using ASP or ASP.NET?
If you are using ASP, please install "ChartDirector for ASP/COM/VB". The recent versions should be distributed as "chartdir_com.exe", which works on both 32-bit and 64-bit Windows. A few years ago, the distribution is called "chartdir_com_win32.exe" that can only run in 32-bit mode. You may download the most recent version from our web site.
As you mentioned IIS 5.0, I assume you are using Windows 2000 or XP. Make sure you have installed ChartDirector on the server that hosts your web site. (When you mention "published in IIS 5.0", do you mean publish on the same server or a different server? If it is published on a different server, please install ChartDirector on that server.)
If the above still cannot solve the problem, would you mind to provide me of the complete and exact error message? If you are using ChartDirector Ver 5, please try the cdcheck5.asp diagnostic script below to identify the problem in more details. Please let me know of the result:
