  Image with a border
Posted by Eva on Sep-12-2012 02:42
Hi Peter,

Is there a way to add a border or some shading around an image created with the <*img tag?  I use this image in a chart title.

Thank you,
Eva

Hi Eva,

In ChartDirector Ver 5.1, you can add a border to a <*block*> by using the edgeColor attribute.

For the <*img*>, you can put it in a <*block*> and add a border to the block. In this way, it would appear the <*img*> has a border.

Unluckily, in CDML, you cannot add shading around an image. If you need a shading, you would need to create the image with the shading (eg. using a graphics editor should as PhotoShop) before passing the image to ChartDirector.
