  perl GLIBC_2.2.5 required

Hello

I am trying to install the perlchartdir on a (virtually web hosted) linux system (FreeBSD 8.3,
amd64). When I try to execute a demo script I get the following message

Can't load './perlchartdir512i64.so' for module perlchartdir512i64:
/usr/local/lib/compat/libc.so.6: version GLIBC_2.2.5 required by ./perlchartdir512i64.so not
defined at /usr/local/lib/perl5/5.12.4/mach/DynaLoader.pm line 200.
at perlchartdir.pm line 9
        ...propagated at perlchartdir.pm line 20.


According to the system administrator the version of GlibC on the system is
2.4.7. Is there a way to get the script running (I do not have access to the system
directories). ?

By mistake I installed the linux version of chartdirector instead of the freebsd version . With
with the correct version it works!
