Arabic labels rendering in reverse order
Posted by Clifton Sothoron on Nov-14-2013 05:01
We're using the ChartDirector Java version from 3/30/2009.  I'm setting Arabic label text in an X axis.  The characters are in the correct order when they are set. However, when the chart is rendered the order of the characters is reversed.  This does not happen in the DotNet version.  Is there a fix for this?

Thanks in advance,

Clifton Sothoron

Hi Clifton,

ChartDirector for .NET supports automatic layout of right to left text a long time ago. However, other editions of ChartDirector (Java, C++, PHP, Perl, Python, Ruby, ASP/COM/VB, ColdFusion) do not support right to left text until version 5.1.

For your case, to solve the problem, please use the latest version of ChartDirector instead.
