Ruby 2.0 Support for Rails |

I am moving my Rails 3.2 project from Ruby 1.9.3 to Ruby 2.0. I have ChartDirector version
5.0 and I keep getting an 'incompatible library version' error using the rubycdapi191.so. Is
there a rubycdapi20?
Is there a way for me to still use the rubycdapi191.so with Ruby 2.0? |

Hi Sarah,
Currently, the Linux (i386/i686), Linux (x86_64) and Mac OS X editions of ChartDirector for
Ruby supports up to Ruby 2.1. Other editions of ChartDirector for Ruby supports up to Ruby
1.9.
If you are using Linux or Mac OS X, please download the latest version of ChartDirector for
Ruby. It should contain rubycdapi20.so and rubycdapi21.so, and also an updated
"chartdirector.rb" that knows when to load these shared objects.
If you are using other operating system, please kindly let me know which OS you are using.
(The last time we check on the RubyInstaller for Windows web site, although there is a build
for 2.0, it is still recommending people to use Ruby 1.9.3 instead of 2.0, and there is no 2.1
version. That's why for Windows, we currently supports only up to 1.9.x).

Hi Harry,
Ruby 2.0 and 2.1 are already supported on Mac OS X, Linux (i386/i686) and Linux (x86_64).
If you need to use Ruby 2.0 on other OS, please let me know which OS you are using.
