Hi together,
I use in the past version 5.0 and now I try to upgrade to version 6.
After I install this version, I miss the file ChartViewer.ocx. In version 5 this file was under
%installdir%\\lib. The file is already on the system under %windows%\\SysWOW64, but
it has still version 5.0.0.0. Is there no newer Version?

Hi Thomas,
The ChartDirector for ASP/COM/VB contains a number of DLLs which are installed in
"%installdir%\\lib", which by default is "c:\\Program Files (x86)\\ChartDirector\\lib" on 64-bit
Windows. These DLLs (aspapi.dll, comchartdir.dll and chartdir60.dll) contains the
ChartDirector library that creates the charts.
After the charts are created, they may be used in web pages (eg. in an IIS/ASP
application), or display on screen in a desktop application, or for other purposes. If it is
displayed on screen in a desktop application, the control ChartViewer.ocx can be used. The
control has not changed in ChartDirector 6 as it is just displaying the charts created by the
DLLs. The DLLs are upgraded to 6.0.0 to support the new ChartDirector features, such as
generating the charts as PDF, new meter styles, etc..
