Hi LAI,

If the text labels are not displayed, it is usually because the fonts are not installed.

Are you using ChartDirector on Linux or FreeBSD or Solaris? If you are using PHP on these operating systems, you would need to copy *everything* (including the fonts subdirectory) to the PHP extension directory, and make sure that the fonts subdirectory and the fonts are readable by the web server (eg. to make them readable by everyone, including the anonymous user represented by the web server). If you just copy the "libchartdir.so" and "phpchartdir???.dll", but not the fonts subdirectory, then there is no font and so no text can be displayed.

If the above still does not solve the problem, would you mind to clarify the operating system and programming language edition of ChartDirector you are using?

We have a key for Ver.4, and can it use for Ver.6? Thank you for your help!

Hi LAI,

If you have a version 4 license (that is, at the date of purchase of the license, the ChartDirector is of version 4), then it can only be used up to ChartDirector version 5. For ChartDirector version 6, you would need to purchase an upgrade license, which cost 25% of the full price of the license. (The exact cost depends on the type of license you current have.)
