ChartDirector Ver 4.1 greatly enhances user interactions with charts by supporting "drag to zoom" and "drag to scroll" features for both windows and web applications. Furthermore, for web applications, the new AJAX enabled Javascript chart viewer means charts can scroll, zoom and update without refreshing the web pages.

Apart from user interaction enhancements, ChartDirector Ver 4.1 also provides a number of graphical improvements, like glass shading effects, soft lighting effects, and frames with rounded corners.
